The New Stefano Redux- Now Live

Dear all, We are pleased to announce the latest arrival into our collection- the new Stefano Model. A many of you will be aware, our logo for The Shoe Snob Ltd is based on a shoe that Justin personally made whilst learning shoemaking with the late (and great) Stefano Bemer. The saddle shoe is one of our personal favourites and this model is a true reflection of where the brand was first envisaged. Unlike our previous Stefano model, the new one has the brogueing on the saddle which further epitomises the exact shoe that was made by Justin on the […]

Our New Button Shoe: Aurora – Coming Soon!

It was inevitable that after the success of our button boot model, the Westlake, that a shoe version had to follow. The only thing is that I wanted to somehow make it different that what else was on offer as the button boot was not really that different from the rest in terms of the pattern. But I did not know what to do until one of my employees (the only one that is!) actually gave me brilliant idea to make it a saddle button shoe. And for me that was killing two birds in one stone as I love […]

The Saddle Brogue Returns!

The Phinney model was one of my first designs, blending the idea of a full brogue and a saddle shoe to create what I like to call ‘The Saddle Brogue.’ When I first launched them during my first ever collection there seemed to be a love/hate thing with them. Whoever bought them absolutely loved them and always asked me to bring them back but I think that many people weren’t quite ready for that design at the time as they looked like a common brogue but weren’t and being in a city where people often shy away from being different […]

Burgundy Leather/Grain – Great Combinations

I really love burgundy as a shoe color. It truly goes with so much and is far more versatile than most people think. Yet I think that people are catching on as just recently two separate customers from a million miles from each other ordered the same combination of leather: burgundy calf/burgundy scotch grain. And what came out was two brilliant pairs of shoes! I actually want a pair of each for myself, but that would just be greedy wouldn’t it?!!! Nevertheless, I have said it again and I will say it before, this is what I love about Made […]

Pitti Uomo Pays Off

When you go to Pitti and are standing in the main bit where everybody is congregating, all you see are all the famous internet “Style Icons” and a load of photographers. There are so many pictures being taken that you never know where one of them could end up. I always make a joke that for all I know, me or one of my friends could be on some massive billboard in central Tokyo. While that is nothing more than a joke, what is more realistic is what I came across today, in which a friend sent over a picture […]
