Madison – Our Penny Loafer

I used to hate penny loafers, at least the ones that they were selling at Nordstrom, like the classic one by Cole Haan and those of Allen Edmonds. Now I love them. They are great for just about every occasion, with the exception of high formal attire. What I love most about them, is how good they look with jeans. As society progresses, I feel like it is more and more acceptable to wear jeans in the workplace (outside of the standard suit wearing industries like finance/accounting/lawyers etc), providing that one always looks smart. And when wearing a nice slim […]

J.FitzPatrick Summer Shoe Sale — Final Markdown

It is officially the second half of our Summer Sale and with that we decided to make a few adjustments, not only to the prices but with the addition of one product in particular: The Dandy Shoe Care x J.FitzPatrick Collaboration. That being, all sales shoes that were previously £175 are now down to £150 (ex VAT £125) and shoes that were previously £225 are now down to £175 (ex VAT £14.83). This a great time to acquire a J.FitzPatrick pair of shoes at an unbeatable price and thus great value for money. There are still a lot of […]

J.FitzPatrick Driving Loafers Now In!!

I have always preached that paying upwards of £250-£300 for a driving loafers was crazy and unjust by the company. There is no reason they should cost that much, especially without having a leather sole on them. Since then, it has been my quest to offer something that was as good as can be at the best price that could be. Of course, I had to knock out my main passion first, which were GY welted beauties, but once I got that sorted, my next project was these and they are finally here and ready to be put on […]

J.FitzPatrick MTO Program Now (Finally) Live!!

I am sorry that it has been quite J.FitzPatrick heavy in the last few posts, but it just happens to be that everything is happening at the same time and I must let it be known to the world. Bear with me and I promise to get some more content on the site soon! That being, after much delay and anticipation (hopefully by some of you), my MTO program for J.FitzPatrick Footwear is now live and ready to be launched to the world (see link below). I have worked hard to finalize my narrow and wide lasts and while there […]

First Round of Patinas Done by J.FitzPatrick x Dandy Shoe Care

The first 5 of the patina orders have been completed and I thought that I would show those of you that might not have been able to picture the possibilities of the patinas achievable on the Greenwood model. There are some very beautiful ones here and expect to see more pictures of them soon. This is the first round of them and the angles that I have been provided by Alexander. As always he has done an amazing job and I am excited for all of you that have ordered to get your shoes. They are currently en route […]

The Shoe Snob Trunk Shows NYC & Sweden – June/July

Each year, I hope to slowly but surely expand my brand and in doing so attempt to go to some of my favorites places for trunk shows, as well as expand to new markets if and when I can. While there is nothing new for these trips in terms of locations (country wise but am going to Gothenburg as well this time), what has happened since I was in both places is that I have expanded greatly not only in my product offering, but will also be ready to start taking proper MTO orders. As you can see I have […]

J.FitzPatrick X Dandy Shoe Care Exclusive Round 2 – Greenwood

We are back at it again with our collaboration between Dandy Shoe Care and J.FitzPatrick. After having a successful first go at it on our Tony II model (last year) and seeing lots of interesting patina’s getting created (see below), we thought we would give it another go only this time on a different model. The idea of going with the Tony II the first time around was being able to use a blank canvas (a wholecut, i.e. no seams) to see what could be achieved. Now, I was thinking the opposite. Let’s see how the lines and brogueing can […]
