First Round of A/W2015 Stock
It has been an interesting season this year. First, after much hard and dedicated work, we were finally able to get out our button boot (Westlake) that I had been working on for so long. And it has been very well received in the industry so I was quite happy about that. Thanks to all of you who purchased a pair. It makes me confident now to go out and create a bunch of new colorways in it. And don’t worry, they will start to become a bit more daring for those of you who actually fancy something quite bold. Like a burgundy and quite possibly a green option!
Secondly, I was able to find a way to actually make the button boot with a suede upper, which I am sure some of you were hoping for as I know that not everyone likes cloth in their shoes. I had to source not only a thinner suede but use also a thinner lining. This made the buttons able to be fastened by hand. But I won’t lie and say that it was easy. It is harder than the cloth option. But to make it easier, I have also found a place to source button hooks and will soon order them to sell on our site as a complementary product for those that wish to have one.
Lastly, but not least, I have just released 2 more of our A/W2015 products. This year has been a bit here and there as we had massive delays in Chromexcel leather coming from Horween of the US. And to make it worse, 4 of my new models are using some color of Chromexcel leather. Instead of massively delaying all of my collection I decided to have it trickle in bit by bit. So here are two new models: the Wedgwood in Shaded Merlot/Blue Tweed with a nice double sole, and a new colorway in the Wallingford. I hope that you guys enjoy them!
And on the very last note, for those of you in or around Paris, remember to stop by our trunk show at Mes Chaussettes Rouges this Fri/Sat. See the Facebook event at THIS LINK.
