New Button Shoe- The Aurora

Dear All,, Trust you are having a wonderful week. As you know, here at JF we like to create shoes that are both unique and classy at the same time. With the launch of our new Button Shoe, the Aurora, we feel this is a perfect example. Now this style of shoe will not be for everyone however it certainly is a model that will turn heads for the right reasons. Much like our Button Boots, this model takes inspiration from the extremely elegant Victorian Era. We wanted to create a shoe that challenges the boundaries of dress footwear whilst […]

Re-Stock of some CORE Models

Dear All, After the successful Summer Sale we have been quite low on a majority of our CORE products but fear not! Along with all of our exciting new additions to the Autumn/Winter collection we have now received a Re-stock in some of our most popular CORE products. My Favourite model – the Montlake (pictured above) is back in action in all its glory! We also have the Magnolia in Dark Brown Museum Calf back in stock after a fantastic reaction to this new leather. The Wallingford in D.Brown Museum and Snuff suede has been a steady seller for us […]

Ballard Chukka Boot- Perfect Wet weather Shoe

Dear All, I have to admit it, winter is fast approaching here in London and its getting cold. There is one benefit to Winter approaching and that is getting our the Winter Wardrobe. It’s time to pull out the knitwear, wool socks, cashmere overcoats and more importantly the winter Boots! Now I am a man of practicality when it comes to Winter attire and especially in my footwear as there is nothing worse than getting dressed in nice shoes with leather soles and stepping outside in the pouring rain to know deep down how much damage its doing. Our New Ballard […]

The New Monk – Corliss III in Black

Dear All, I trust you had a pleasant weekend. With lots happening here at the JFitzPatrick HQ we have been delighted at the reaction so far to our new Autumn/Winter models. One model in particular that stands out is the new colourway in the Corliss III- now available in Black. We launched the Corliss III in Burgundy earlier on in the year and it was a huge hit with everyone hence now a second colurway. The reason I am particularly excited about the Corliss in black is that I have re-connected with wearing Black shoes. I have 3 pairs […]

Samples- where the inspiration starts

Dear All, Hope you are having a great week. Many of you may or may not know how long it takes to come up with the model that you see in each Ready to wear collection. It is a long process from an idea that Justin has sketched on a piece of paper to the finished article available to buy online or in store. When I worked on Savile Row and Jermyn St in previous jobs, being part of Management I got to see alot of how the design teams came up with garments ready for a collection which […]

New Button Boots- Tan Grain tops them all.

Hi All, It’s been a rather busy first three months here for me at J.FitzPatrick Footwear and I have loved every minute of it. I wanted to give my personal opinion on our exciting new Button Boot collection which has just launched into Pre-Sale. Now, having been a fan of the previous Westlake Collection before I joined the business I was delighted to hear that we were going to go one step further and offer 5 New Colours for this AW 16 season. When the samples came in a while ago, I was like a kid in a candy store and was […]

MTO- The best of both worlds

, Recently we have been getting more and more requests about our MTO service so I wanted to give you all a bit more info on this service as it’s the perfect way to have the best of our signature J.FitzPatrick footwear styles but your own individual style. Firstly, MTO means Made To Order, this is not Bespoke. From working in the suiting industry people often got confused between the two and our MTO service is based on our existing patterns/lasts but then you get to have some fun with the design, the lasts, soles and so on (see below). How it works: Any model that […]

Monkstraps- Single or Double?

So here at J.FitzPatrick we like to get feedback from you and recently a topic of conversation has been about Monkstraps. Now, personally I am a big fan of Double Monks as I have the Montlake in both Cedar Calf and the Snuff Suede model along with some others from different brands but since joining the J.FitzPatrick team I have seen more customers buying the Single Monk Fauntleroy (above) than the Montlake (below).   Why is that, that’s the question? I do understand and agree that if we were to make a black single and double monk the single would aesthetically appeal […]

Copper Museum – The Sebastien

Forget 50 shades of grey, there are more shades of brown than one can imagine, particularly in leather. Come to think about it, we already use about 6 shades of brown and that does not include tan shades. Imagine that! The new Museum Calf we are using is so unique in colour that it does really look like a patina shoe. There are so many different browns out there on the market it’s mind boggling, however we feel that we have hit the nail on the head with this new style. Not only does the brown have very rich and earthy […]
